COVER-Cataract Output, Volume, Personnel Empowerment and Reach-out- develops and implements sustainable plans to improve cataract surgical output, while encouraging the improvement and acquisition of MSICS (Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgery) among trainee Ophthalmologists in teaching hospitals in the six geo-political zones of Nigeria. COVER further encourages the provision of reach-out programmes within these geo-political zones to provide high-quality surgeries led by COVER trainees.
